Financial update

  • The Trustees were provided with an update from the previous Finance & Development Committee meeting.
  • A financial report was provided by the Finance Manager.
  • Discussion was held on the NPHT crowdfunding campaign and the need for support from a wider network to reach the target.
  • Discussion was held on fundraising.

General Project update (VHW)

  • The Project Manager provided a general project update focusing on a few key areas including the Heritage Centre opening, Bradford exhibition and an update on arhcives and collections.
  • One SLA had been completed and the remaining SLAs with the BPA and Wheelpower were now in final stages.
  • The Learning and Engagement Manager gave a presentation on the operational plans of the Heritage Centre and the visitor journey.

Governance issues

  • The Board reviewed the risk register.
  • The Board noted that the Collections and Development policy was still awaiting feedback and comments from partners.
