Iain Dawson is a visually impaired multi-sport athlete. He was an international cyclist, he competed at the Sydney 2000 Paralympics and raced at European and World championships.

Iain has a long history of sporting participation since childhood. He has previously enjoyed taking part in athletics, football, cross country skiing and cycling. Today he focuses on duathlon (run-bike-run) and triathlon (run-bike-swim) events.

Iain works as a Physiotherapist for the NHS with people who have a learning disability, promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles. Iain also specialises in something called ‘rebound therapy’ which uses a trampoline to help achieve a wide range of health and social benefits for it’s participants.
