Concept model of the apple on the book created for the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

This is a concept model of Mark Quinn’s marble statue of Alison Lapper which he created to commemorate a new kind of hero and signify the future possibilities of humanity. A giant version was used for the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Paralympics.

This blue gradient newspaper suit was designed for the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Paralympic Games. It was worn by a performer in the ‘Navigation’ dance and features printed bold, black newspaper type text from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

4. Union Jack Dress, London 2012 Paralympics

The Union Jack dress was worn by the placard bearer for the Great Britain team at the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Paralympic Games. The dress was made from recycled materials with the intention to make the Games sustainable.
