Visit us Past events and exhibitions National Sporting Heritage Day As part of our commitment to creating genuinely inclusive learning opportunities at the National Paralympic Heritage Trust, we have developed some bespoke pre-visit material so that our visitors can plan their trip to the Heritage Centre. The offer includes a social story and a sensory map which describe the journey into our sensitively lit accessible museum space. This National Sporting Heritage Day we invite everyone who has an interest in discovering the history of the Paralympic Games and those who generally find visiting museums and new spaces difficult, to use our pre-visit material to plan their experience with us. Visits are free of charge and can be booked to coincide with quieter times. Additional extras such as the use of sensory equipment can also be booked which we hope will make your visit as comfortable and rewarding as possible. To book your visit please complete the booking form before the day to secure your time slot and return it to [email protected] Alternatively you can ring on the day and ask to speak to Fiona who will be very pleased to arrange your visit with you. Please call 01296 489929 between 8.30am and 4.00pm on the day. Fiona outside of the entrance to the National Paralympic Heritage Centre at Stoke Mandeville Stadium.
