On Friday 6th December, we were joined by wheelchair racer Nathan Maguire, fresh from Paris 2024, as the latest speaker in our 'Meet the Paralympian' event series. Image Credit: Jodi Hanagan Nathan reached the finals in the 400m, 800m and 1500m T54 events at the Paris games - finishing just outside of the top three. So, is it all about the medals? Nathan's story is a testament to resilience and hard work, inspiring us to reflect on our own definitions of success, and giving you a morning to remember. This event took place on Friday 6th December from 11am until 11.45am. The event is suitable for young people in Key Stage 1 and 2, and can be a great way to engage your students in sport, biology, psychology and so much more. It concludes with a Q&A, giving children the chance to ask their most pressing questions. Best of all, it's completely free and will be held online, allowing you to access the event from anywhere.
