The first ever Paralympic Heritage Centre opened at Stoke Mandeville Stadium in March 2019, welcoming visitors from all over the world to celebrate and learn about the history of the Paralympic Movement and its early origins at the heart of our local community. The Heritage Centre volunteer will be the first person visitors see when they visit, offering a warm welcoming and friendly face. You will help visitors to engage with the displays, provide increased accessibility through audio-description tours, run schools’ sessions, group visits and activities. This position is best suited to someone who enjoys socialising and meeting new people.

Location: National Paralympic Heritage Centre, Stoke Mandeville Stadium
Time Commitment: Minimum 2 session per month
Report to: Operations and Engagement Manager
Desirable: Experience working in a customer facing position
Essential: Applicants must be 16 years and over. Communication skills.
