The first ever Paralympic Heritage Centre opened at Stoke Mandeville Stadium in March 2019, welcoming visitors from all over the world to celebrate and learn about the history of the Paralympic Movement and its early origins at the heart of our local community. The Heritage Centre Assistant will be the first person visitors see when they visit, offering a warm welcoming and friendly face. This position will help visitors to engage with the displays, provide increased accessibility through audio-description tours, run schools’ sessions, group visits and Heritage Centre activities. This position is best suited to someone who enjoys socialising and meeting new people.

Location: National Paralympic Heritage Centre, Stoke Mandeville Stadium
Time Commitment: One session per month (3 hours)
Report to: Operations and Events Manager
Desirable: Experience working in a customer facing position
Essential: Applicants must be 16 years and over. Communication skills.
