World Para Taekwondo Grand Prix in Manchester

Feedback from British Taekwondo:

Friday was a busy day with over 600 school children attending the event and coming over to your stand to learn all about the history of the Paralympics. The feedback I have had from schools has been amazing to hear ... from the handling collection on offer and fabulous posters, to the way the volunteers adapted their delivery dependant on the audience was superb. It was a great success and the whole event team and British Taekwondo appreciate your engagement and attendance.

Organising an event

If you are organising an event and would like us to attend with our pop-up museum we would love to hear from you.

The pop-up museum provides a unique opportunity for us to share the Paralympic heritage through display panels ranging from Professor Sir Ludwig Guttmann and the early games to Paralympic athletes and sports. These panels are brought to life through objects from our handling collection and through interactive activities.

The marquee is 3x4m in dimension, fully weighted and can be erected indoors or outdoors. The pop-up museum is available for a hire fee of £250 which will include travel, setting up and will be managed by a knowledgeable team who will bring the Paralympic Heritage stories to life.

There is also the opportunity to tailor the panels within the pop-up museum to your event.
