The Paralympic Heritage Centre at Stoke Mandeville Stadium is temporarily closed to visitors but you can visit it from the comfort of your home through our virtual tour.  Using 3D technology, you can ‘walkthrough’ exhibition spaces and zoom in on specific artefacts or artwork. You can access video, British Sign Language, and text caption options at points of interest.

Virtual BSL Tour of the National Paralympic Heritage Centre

Vicky Hope-Walker, CEO and Marie Biswell, British Sign Language interpreter will be live on Zoom for a virtual tour of the Heritage Centre at Stoke Mandeville. The 2020 Paralympic Games should have started on the 24th August this year, however due to the COVID-19 pandemic the games have been postponed to 2021. During this session we will learn more about the history of the Paralympic Games and the Pioneer of the games Professor Sir Ludwig Guttmann. An opportunity for the whole family to enjoy a fantastic tour of a truly inspirational story!
