Audio described tours

Join us for an audio described tour of the National Paralympic Heritage Centre and discover the inspiring story of the Father of the Paralympic Movement, Professor Sir Ludwig Guttmann. Learn about the celebrations of the Paralympic Games and ceremonies, and experience the evolution of disability sports and equipment.

This tour is suitable for blind and partially sighted visitors.

About the Tour

  • On arrival please make your way to the cafe area at Stoke Mandeville Stadium in time for the 10.00 or 14.00 sessions. The Heritage Centre is situated next to the cafe.
  • The tour will last approximately 1-1 1/2 hours.
  • Visitors are welcome to explore the museum self-guided until closing time at 18.00.
  • Guide and assistance dogs are welcome.
