Reopening of Museums

Update: Thursday 25th June 2020

The National Paralympic Heritage Centre has no immediate plans for reopening as our permanent displays are within a sports centre and hospital where access remains restricted. We are however working hard behind the scenes planning to reopen once we are confident it is safe for both visitors, volunteers and staff, and will keep you posted on our website and through social media. In the meantime please continue to enjoy our exciting virtual tours and events.

Tuesday 17th March 2020

In response to the COVID-19 situation we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close the National Paralympic Heritage Centre and the National Paralympic Heritage Trust office at Stoke Mandeville until further notice. The NPHT team will continue to work as usual, based at home, and can be contacted by email at [email protected]

We will update our information as the situation changes. Please do continue to use our website and social media channels to find out more about the work of the Trust and the wonderful history behind the Paralympics. You can even access one of our regional Paralympic Heritage exhibitions, displayed at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery, Bradford, through a virtual tour.

Kind regards
