The NPHT team and volunteers talking to visitors at the pop-up museum

Come along to our Pop-up Museum at the following sporting, heritage and community events around the UK.

Events for 2020

Due to the COVID-19 situation, events for our Pop-up Museum to attend are currently postponed. We will keep you updated with information as the situation changes. Please do continue to use our website and social media channels to find out more about the work of the Trust and the wonderful history behind the Paralympics. You can even access one of our regional Paralympic Heritage exhibitions, displayed at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery, Bradford, through a virtual tour.

Organising an event

If you are organising an event and would like us to attend with our pop-up museum we would love to hear from you.

The pop-up museum provides a unique opportunity for us to share the Paralympic heritage through display panels ranging from Professor Sir Ludwig Guttmann and the early games to Paralympic athletes and sports. These panels are brought to life through objects from our handling collection and through interactive activities.

The marquee is 3x4m in dimension, fully weighted and can be erected indoors or outdoors. The pop-up museum is available for a hire fee of £250 which will include travel, setting up and will be managed by a knowledgeable team who will bring the Paralympic Heritage stories to life.

There is also the opportunity to tailor the panels within the pop-up museum to your event.

If you would like to discuss this in more detail please contact Elaine Phiri, Operations & Events Manager, [email protected], 01296 489929.
