Watch the story of the early days of the Paralympics

The Mandeville Legacy
A short documentary about the birth of the Paralympic Games at Stoke Mandeville.

This short film, first made in 2012, tells the story of how Dr Ludwig Guttmann’s pioneering approach to rehabilitation at Stoke Mandeville led to the birth of the Paralympic movement.

Now subtitled, it is a great introduction to the early days of the Paralympic movement, with archive footage and contributions from Paralympians.
