Chair of Trustees at the National Paralympic Heritage Trust
The National Paralympic Heritage Trust exists to enlighten and inspire future generations by celebrating, cherishing and bringing the Paralympic heritage and its stories of human endeavour to life.
We are looking to recruit our next Chair to take the Trust on the next stage of its journey and to guide our future direction.
This is a really exciting time to join us – having secured significant investment from the Heritage Lottery Fund and a number of other funders, we are now working hard to establish an archive and collection of national and international importance and developing innovative ways in which it can be accessed.
Our future Chair could be drawn from the world of heritage or sport, or beyond, but you will share our passion for preserving and celebrating the heritage of the UK as the birth place of the Paralympic movement and it is likely you will have an understanding of, and access to, important networks or contacts in the sport and/or heritage sectors .
The role is non - remunerated but expenses will be reimbursed.
Closing date for applications: 12 noon Thursday 4th January 2018. Interviews will be held on 17th January 2018 in Stoke Mandeville, Buckinghamshire.
